How Do I Convince In-laws That I Don’t Want Pink Girly Stuff If It’s A Girl?

I don’t like the colour pink at ALL and hate dresses/skirts and girly crap like that. My mother in law is holding off on buying clothes for my baby until she knows the sex because she says that if it’s a girl it has to LOOK like a girl. I told her I don’t care but she says she does!
How do I convince people around me to NOT buy girly crap even if it’s a girl? Should I just lie and say it’s a boy or not tell them the sex so they’re forced into buying so called gender neutral clothing? It seems so unfair that girls are pelted with pink at birth and stupid dolls, while boys get fun stuff like trucks, dinos and better colours like blue and green. I want my kid to look like MY kid, not some sexist view of what they’re supposed to look like – but I don’t know how to get my point across to them nicely. How does one deal with people giving you stuff that you hate, even if you told them not to? I will feel bad if they spend money on stuff I’ll refuse to put on my kid.
