My best friend has recently started hanging out with me less. I’m feeling hurt and jealous of the other people he hangs out with. What do you do to help with these feelings?

Understand that this is not about you or your value/worth. It’s about people changing over time so that their journey diverges from yours. This will be happening all your life. People come and go. It’s harder now because you’re in high school where you’re stuck with the same group of people. Life is cyclical and one day you will have some advantage while she doesn’t. Your day will come. Meanwhile, focus on your interests and studies. You think you need this friend but you don’t. You’ll see.

you said he is your best friend but are you his best friend?
i would suggest that you step back for a moment and evaluate your friendship. and be honest with yourself about where your true standing is with him.
if you two are ‘for true’ best friends, then there is nothing that you two cannot talk about.
ask him about his other friends and why he has been hanging out with you less.
and if you can, do it face to face. serious questions/concerns need to be face to face. this way you can guage if his words are true and sincere.

Well, if you believe in God.
You pray to him and ask him for forgiveness for having the feeling of being jealous. Then you ask him for patience and guidance. Ask God to show you if he wants you to drop the friend or not.
If you are a non believer, find new friends.
