My mom’s best friend died today. I found out thru a text his niece sent me when my mom was at work. She will still be at work for 4 more hours. How and when am I supposed to tell my mom something like this? :’(

she is really miserable. she went to her uncle’s house and there are all these people whom she doesnt know that are bugging her and asking personal questions that she doesn’t want to answer though she is trying to be nice. nobody seems upset that her aunt died and i don’t know what i can say or do to calm her down.
