My friends and I are planning for a meet up in december 2008. We have been to Berjaya times square 2 years back and it wasnt exiciting. Can any1 suggest us a good place to hang out? How Do I Make Friends In High School?
I just recently moved to France.
I’m a girl and will be going into grade 10.
I’ve never moved before, so I don’t really know how to make new friends.
One main problem is that French is my second language, and I’m pretty good at it but don’t know the slang and they seem to talk really fast.
Any suggestions or tips?

There Is A Girl At School Spreading Stuff About Me.?
This girl went to school with me a few years ago and now we are in high school together. We never got along then and we dont now. Her mom (yes a 40 year old woman) helps out with the middle school show choir and is telling people bad stuff about me. And then tells her daughter my friends are saying it. The daughter wont leave me alone during the class I have with her. Shes making that class hell for me and i have it everyother day. What should I do.

How Do I Survive And Make Friends In High School?
I am going to start High School in a few weeks and I am super stressed. I am not worried at all about how well I will do academically, I am worried about how well I will do socially. The friends I have now are fine, but it seems like we will be in different cliques in High School, so I was wondering how is the best possible way to make new friends in high school that doesn’t require making a fool out of myself. I had an awesome friend in Middle School/Junior High that moved away, so I don’t have his support anymore and my other close friends will probably be of different Social/Ethnicity Cliques in High School. So I have a few questions I hope you can help me with.
1) How do I make new friends in High School? (People I WANT to hang out with) (I don’t want to be lost socially in High School) (P.S. – I am a boy and am kinda shy)
2) I want to join the soccer team. For those of you who have played Freshman Soccer, any tips on what the coaches look for?

How Can I Make Friends Outside Of School?
Right, so I’m a 16 year old girl and I want to meet more people outside of school. I’ve known the people in my high school for 4 1/2 years (because I also went there for middle school) and although I have a lot of friends, I feel like its been so long since I’ve gotten to know someone new & different.
I just don’t know where to start…I live in a large city (Chicago), if that helps. Should I get a job or something?

How Do You Make Friends Quickly In Your Freshman Year Of High School?
I go to a tiny school (350 kids from grades K-8) and I basically know EVERYONE. In a couple months I’ll be going into a high school with 3500 kids. I really want to start off the year friendly and nice and with a lot of friends. I’m very shy, so I’m trying to think about how I can bring up my social skills. I’m also going to be trying out for Pre-IB. Do you have any tips? Any help is much appreciated!!!
